Brothertown Indian Nation Statement on Oneida Shooting.

The Brothertown Indian Nation Tribal Council extends its heartfelt condolences to our Relatives, the Oneida Nation; and all those affected by the tragic workplace shooting that occurred on Tribal lands on Saturday, May 1, 2021.
We recognize that trauma from these events can continue to ripple through families and communities, causing additional harm. We send healing thoughts and prayers to all impacted.
In honor of those that passed on in this incident, we ask that all Tribal flags be flown at half-staff for four days: May 5, 2021 through May 8, 2021.
