Announcement: Updated Brothertown Indian Nation YouTube channel now live!

The website committee has been diligently working behind the scenes to bring our Brothertown members and interested friends updated and current content to the official BIN YouTube channel, including educational content for those who’ve been asking for it for quite some time. Along with the ongoing website updates, we have corrected YouTube channel name to “The Brothertown Indian Nation”.

Please share this content with our relatives and help us stay connected as a community during this time and subscribe to the channel as it does help the tribe.

You can view the new YouTube channel from our homepage link or bookmark https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCNH-y2F5G_rjViy_8GUMoeg to view new content that we will be adding.

Currently the playlist content includes (but will be regularly updating for new content):

  • “Brothertown Indian Nation Homecoming 2021“(there are 5 videos now on the playlist currently. Please view if you missed the homecoming 2021 last month or if you would like to see a discussion section again.
  • The official “Brothertown Indian Nation Videos’’ when they become available three are live now.
  • Additionally, “Education: History and Heritage of The Brothertown Indian Nation” playlist. (These videos come from a variety of respected sources, such as: Educational, Documentaries, Historical Societies, and presentations by scholars. Currently there are 5 which include:
    1. "The Betrayal of Samson Occom"
    2. The PBS documentary on “The Brothertown Indians”
    3. “Becoming Brothertown” presentation with Craig N. Cipolla
    4. "The 12 Tribes of Wisconsin" with Dr. Renee Gralewicz
    5. Readings from Samson Occom “"A Short Narrative of my Life"
