Homecoming 2025 – Celebrating 20th Anniversary of Brothertown Bingo!

Homecoming is always one of our most favorite annual events, but this year we have a huge milestone to celebrate… 20 years of Brothertown Indian Nation Bingo!

Our homecoming events each year are a time to gather and reconnect with relatives, to learn unknown stories, to engage and become closer to our tribal family, and yes, to eat.

But, this year, we have an important tribal landmark to celebrate, with many more special and new events being planned – this is not one to miss!

So much planning continues to go on but, rest assured “Homecoming 2025” will be a day to remember! – Mark your calendar.

Preliminary schedule of events (we will keep you informed as new things are added):

  • Doors open at 11:00 am and close at 4:30 PM, with a feast meal at 12:00 noon
  • Elder Recordings: We would loe to record stories and memories from our Elders for our future generations. We will have a private place to continue this important tradition and learn from them.
  • No mini -powwow again this year, this is time is for our Brothertown Family to bond, and rekindle relationships, make new ones, learn, share community with adults and our youth and eat a meal together.
    • Please be sure to consider bringing your favorite traditional dish to share and don’t forget your “feast bundles” (plates, utensils, and cups)! Feel free to view some recipe ideas here, or bring your personal specialty.
  • In the Afternoon-A short presentation by Tom Smith-on Traditional Burning
  • The homecoming agenda also has something planned for all Generations!
  • An Afternoon Awards Ceremony
  • Day ends with five free games of Clebration Bingo! (no money prizes, but gifts, baskets, etc. being planned for winners)
  • There will also be Brothertown Trader vendors
    • Brothertown Tribal Traders-set-up starting at 9:30 am, Traders should contact Dawn Kraintz to reserve a booth as spots are limited,
