Brothertown Culture Camp 2026

Daily Schedule: 9:00 Gather for Language and Lessons; Morning Activities; Lunch; Afternoon Activities

Daily activities: Working on the dugout canoe; Processing Hides

Additional activities (offered once): birchbark baskets; lotion; medicine salves and teas; feather work; beads; traditional
games; songs; wild rice knockers; wampum bracelets; quillwork, dreamcatchers; and more!

Lunch: Soup provided. If you can, bring a dish (with recipe) to share that has at least one traditional ingredient

Lodging: On your own – Tent camping (no shower) on site at Cultural Center or local parks; hotels/motels in the area

Cost: Donations to cover costs gas and supplies for those sharing their knowledge

Bring: Chairs, Refillable Water Bottles/Coffee Mugs; Feast Bundles

Supplies: We have supplies for the projects planned, but if you have awls, hide tools, craft supplies, bring them along!

Youth: Youth are encouraged, accompanied by a responsible adult!

Although plastics and paper are recyclable, it takes tremendous resources for initial use and to recycle. Please use glass,
wood or multi-use plastics when possible. Therefore, please bring feast bundles or use/wash plates and utensils available at Culture Camp. Looking forward to seeing you at Culture Camp!
