The September Brothertown Indian Nation Council meeting will be held at the Cultural Center of the Brothertown Indian Nation

New Time and Date: Beginning at 8:30 a.m. CST on Sunday, September 14th.
(9:30 a.m. EST, 7:30 a.m. MST, and 6:30 a.m. PST)

Around the weekend of the 13th, many important tribal events are occurring which the Tribal Members and the Council need to be a part of. A brief list is below:

  • Wild rice project: Volunteers are needed to help on the 11th and 12th to prepare the rice for seeding and possibly to help do the actual seeding. Interested tribal members: contact Jessica at 651-508-3364
  • Saturday September 13th, the Neenah-Menasha Intertribal Powwow 2025 is to be held at Shattuck Park on E. Wisconsin Ave, Neenah, WI. The tribe is planning a food booth, so volunteers are needed for this event (the food booth setup is at 12:30, the Powwow Grand Entry is at 2 PM and requesting needed volunteers to attend). Please contact the BIN Office if you can help.
  • The Brothertown Indian Nation Council Meeting begins on Sunday September 14th at 8:30 am CST -Tribal Council Meeting at the Cultural Center.
  • Beginning at 10:00 am CST, Following the Council Council meeting, the Council and Brothertown members will meet at Lot 7 to bless the land. Everyone is welcome to attend.
  • Beginning at Noon-Lunch at the Cultural Center to thank those folks who donated the log for the dugout canoe and for those who engineered the log’s pickup and delivery to the Culture Center in time for the Culture Camp. Everyone is invited to show our Tribes gratitude.

All Brothertown members planning on attending via Zoom must register to receive an email with all the Zoom sign-in details. Click this link to request access and be put on the list of reminders from the Brothertown Office.

Following initial registration of enrolled members will receive an ongoing reminder email on the Thursday before each Council meeting.
