2024 Annual Brothertown Indian Nation Picnic

This was our first annual picnic on our original tribal lands in modern times, and it occured on July 18th 2024. A huge thank you all who attended helped with the picnic and attended the Council meeting, in-person or via Zoom. The picnic did live up to our tradition of community, harmony, tribal family interaction and connection. We were also blessed with Storytelling by member Shelli Dekker carrying on Dick Welch’s traditions we all remember and charished and have long missed since he walked on in 2019 The food was exceptional, conversations with the elders, were deep and caring.
